OFFICIAL PETERSON WEBSITE
Thanks to my son, Todd, I have a little space to
play with. I would like to make some information and family photos available
for everyone, in hopes of informing generations to follow. I have created a
number of pages for my own entertainment. They were meant to be entertaining,
and in many cases, humorous. Language and subject matter may be offensive to
some readers. If you have a correction
or comment, please contact pete@thepetersonranch.com.
I encourage suggestions!

I also received a box with several albums, and
some loose photos.
See the loose photos at http://www.petesmemories.com/dlsbxpt1.html.
The rest are in albums. The first album is in
three parts. It was my mother’s album, and it is on a black background. It
contains photos from the mid forties, to the mid to
late fifties. There are over three hundred items to view. I will show them in
groups of approximately one hundred items. This expedites the download, as I am
using an older laptop to create these pages.

These were pictures taken in Okinawa in the late 1940s and early 1950s. There is a military awards presentation shown, also, the Quonset living quarters, and fun on the beach. There are some new things I received from Dale. They can be found in Dale’s Album, and Dale’s box. See above.
Newfoundland
See this first!
I originally put this up as http://www.petesmemories.com/nfld.html but it took so long to load, I divided it into two parts. The original part was modified to show my personal photos. I will add to this as I find them.
I attended High School in Newfoundland my freshman and sophomore years. (1961-1962) These are yearbooks from Harmon High, from those two years.
This is My brother, Dale’s copy of the 1961 yearbook.
http://www.petesmemories.com/61rocket.html
I am unable to find my copy. It was signed by all my friends, and acquaintances. A tragic loss!
This is my yearbook from 1962 in two parts.
The Petersons
This is a scrapbook, put together by my grandmother, Martha Boe/Peterson. The main subject is a return trip to Norway. This trip was made in 1948. If you check out bunch 13a, you will find Grandma and Grandpa’s passport. In the back pages you will find where Grandpa became a citizen of the U.S.A.
http://www.petesmemories.com/bunch13a.html Grandpa Peterson’s passport is among these images.
http://www.petesmemories.com/gpalb.html
There are two small albums, put together by my grandmother. My Uncle Egbert is the subject of one, and my dad is the subject of the other.
There are many photos of all the Peterson family of the 1940s.
