This page now has a SILVER background!

New material added 7/22/2014. Edited some text.

This page is dedicated to my mother, Irma Peterson.

I love you, mom. Rest in peace.

I don’t have a lot of photos of my mother’s side of the family. This graduation picture is the earliest one that I know of.

I will show the scans original size.

Then I will attempt to splice.

This was one of our trips to the Grand Canyon. It snowed in Flagstaff while we were there. This was shortly before we moved to Sacramento.

I don’t have many photos of our first trip to Sacramento, but shortly thereafter, we were transferred to Newfoundland.

This appears to be the same woman as in the photo, below. In some recent

communication with Erling Boe, he identified her.

In his own words:

THE LADY NEXT TO ME IS MY SECOND WIFE, JOAN (SKINNER WAS HER MAIDEN NAME). SHE BROUGHT DAUGHTERS ELIZABETH (b. 1980) AND SHERIDAN (SHERSI, b. 1974) INTO MY LIFE. NEXT IS MY AUNT CHRISTIE, JIM WEIGHER, HUSBAND OF ANNA MARIE (NEXT), DAUGHTER OF CHRISTIE. I AM NOT SURE OF THE OTHER TWO WOMEN. IS ONE YOUR MOTHER AND THE OTHER MY AUNT MARTHA?

I built a deck for Mom and Dad, right where that cherub fountain sits. It was the first of several.

A couple of things…..I never knew my grandfather’s name was John and I didn’t know he was from Sweden. I knew my grandmother’s maiden name was Ellen Ellis. I was told she was Scotch/Irish?????? Wish I had more info on that side of the family!

From what I can see, it appears to be Jessica in the back with jeans on, Stephanie, her daughter, my granddaughter, in shorts, and My youngest grandson, Caden on the stone.
