the rest!).
I stopped at carbon
for a reason.
This dissertation
features COMBUSTION, ELECTROLISIS, ACIDS
AND BASES, and some general
information. Let’s start with that.
POLLUTION:
The number one (#1)
contributor to our DIRTY atmosphere is combustion of fossil fuel, a very finite commodity, most
likely a major contributor to climate change/global warming, detectable at both
of earth’s poles. (Shut-up flat earthers!!!)

ELECTROLISIS and Electricity………………
HYDROGEN, the most abundant element in
the universe, combined with oxygen, found in water, (which covers 7/10ths of
the earth), by combustion, produces more energy than an equal weight of fossil
fuels. (gasoline, versus liquids of hydrogen and oxygen), and the
by-product of said combustion, is water, from which you can “manufacture” sum-mo’
liquid, or gaseous, (easier and relatively safer), HYDROGEN AND
OXYGEN!!!!!!
by
electrolysis………….a chemical reaction, in which ELECTRICTY is applied to a
solution of water (H2-O) 😊and certain SALTS.
(I HAVE EXPERIMENTED WITH HYDROXIDES;
[NaOH]
Sodium hydroxide is a corrosive chemical
sometimes known as lye or caustic soda. It's chemical formula is NaOH.
It is an ionic compound, because it is made of a metal ion, sodium (Na+), that
is attracted to a nonmental ion, hydroxide (OH). AND, [KOH]:
Potassium hydroxide is an inorganic
compound with the formula [KOH], and is commonly called caustic potash.)
These salts increase electrical conductivity in water,
where a +, The plus sign, +, a binary
operator or
POSITIVE ELECTRODE AND A – , (-) OR NEGATIVE
ELECTRODE, SEPARATED FROM EACH OTHER IN A SOLUTION OF
SAID SALTS, TO WHICH AN ELECTRICAL DIFFERENCE OF POTENTIAL (VOLTAGE), IS APPLIED, SEPARATE OXYGEN AND HYDROGEN, RESPECTIVELY, BY POLAR ACCUMULATION.
SEGRAGATED
BY A DIAPHRAM AND COLLECTED AND COMPRESSED, OR CONSUMED AT “ATMOSPHERIC
PRESSURE”, (LEAST HAZARDOUS), THE COMPOSITION OF A FUEL CELL, WHICH, WHEN THE SOLUTION BECOMES
DEPLETED, CAN BE REFUELED WITH A GARDEN FAUCET!!!!
SO, COMBUSTION OF H PLUS (+) o2, = H2o. 😉

The combustion of hydrocarbons produces co2 and co, which we
desperately try to eliminate, (greenhouse gasses).
Do I need to mention that:
both are poisonous to most (“faunal”) life forms?
These
discoveries were made, long before the development of internal combustion engines and power plants.
THE ONLY
REASON WE STILL USE THEM, (ALMOST EXCLUSIVELY), IS DICTATED BY THE
PRODUCERS OF FOSSILIZED DEPOSITS: I.E. fossil fuels. (O.P.E.C. AND AMERICAN OIL
MAGNATES, and ETC!)
ELECTROLISIS
and Electricity………………
EVS, the latest feeble attempt to “protect the environment”, are
fraught with catastrophic “glitches”, which include:
BATTERIES; toxic, explosive fire
hazards, short lived, excessively massive and expensive, produced (mined) by exploited
citizens of underdeveloped countries, and relatively “short ranged”,
exacerbated by climate change, which further restricts the range with record
freezing temperatures, nation-wide, causing electric vehicles (E.V.s) to be
towed to long waiting lines at charging stations.
Lead acid batteries are even more toxic, and explosive, and
hazardous, and even less efficient than our best, the
LITHIUM ION battery.
CHARGER STATIONS; provide “clean energy”, produced by fossil fuel burning, generating plants!!!
There are internal
combustion engines, fueled by hydrogen, which power generators of electricity.
These may be found in autos labeled as “hybrid”, which is the cleanest, (only if you exclude
the monster battery pack), the only pollution is negligible amounts of O3, or
OZONE, and dust produced by mechanical wear. (Hopefully we
don’t still use ASBESTOS in our brake pads!!!!)
ELECTROLISIS and Electricity………………
Now, more than ever, we need to eliminate or develop batteries,
which are, most importantly, hazard free, and economically appealing.
The
storage of electrical energy is elusive. There are methods of storing
electrical energy for unusably short periods of time, one of which is the
“capacitor”, or condenser, which is made more powerful by increasing the size
of two large surface areas, separated by a non-conductive membrane, one area
stores applied energy with positive charge, and the other with negative. The
length of storage is dependent on tank circuits, (oscillators) of varying
frequencies (hertz).
This is
an electrical storage system which deserves serious research and development attention, mostly because it is possible to develop with,
absolutely NO toxic implications,
whatsoever.
This, coupled with hydrogen burning power sources, would
eliminate trillions of tons of pollutants from our poisoned atmosphere.
I am an
oooold man, and sadly, won’t live to see this potential reversal of inevitable
catastrophe.
We are deep into climate change, in the form of “global
warming”, which is accelerated by excessive production of the three Cs, C-O, CO2, and CO3.
These compounds retain global heat by
preventing the reflection of sunlight. We will continue this destructive
pattern until we have exploited every possible source of fossilized fuels,
which includes “COAL” production. For the most part, the profiteers of this
tragedy will NOT live long enough to see the catastrophic results of this
behavior.
I encourage young people to
participate in discoveries which are friendly to the planet.
