I was stunned to learn that some people still believe the
earth is flat. I have a feeling those folks don’t get out much! Some
believe the sun is a flat projection, and science fakes “round
earth” scenario to raise money.

discussion about a number of flat models – and some staunch-minded
roundists trying their best to prove us wrong.”
Despite
some high-profile members, flat Earthers are often ridiculed for their beliefs
and many of their internet spaces are raided by “Ball Earthers”
hoping to argue with them. And since a spherical Earth has been accepted for
centuries, Flat Earthers seem especially crazy to many people.
“It’s definitely true we are
brushed off as ‘dumb’ or anti-intellectual, but when you
look into a lot of the literature there are some very interesting arguments
even for non-believers,” said Davis. “I’m a computer
scientist myself and a mathematician. Some of our other members are engineers, pilots,
and other trained professionals. I imagine we are fairly even with the populace
as a whole as far as our intelligence goes.”

I can’t argue with that!
I wonder if Davis considers that to be a compliment. The populace, as a
whole is not that “bright”. I met a few really stupid engineers,
pilots, and other trained professionals. One of the stupidest people I know has
a masters degree.
So what do Flat Earthers believe?
There isn’t just one answer as the community is radically
diverse. Some see the Earth as a flat disc with the North Pole at it’s
center and Antartica making up the entire perimeter, like an icy wall keeping
the oceans contained. Some believe the stars are projected on a dome. That the
sun is also flat. That there are no other planets. That everything past our
blue sky is made up. So for some, a flat Earth is just the beginning of their
theory.
Rowbotham, though the parallels with religion and Flat Earth-ism continue to this day. For many, the Bible is proof that there is a flat Earth. Wall describes the creation of the world as God creating land and water- not other planets and stars. In 1956, Samuel Shenton, another English writers, created the International Flat Earth Society as a successor to the Universal Zetetic Society.
It is
2-23-2019. I just finished watching a Netflix film entitled “BEHIND THE
CURVE”. I wouldn’t have wasted my time, but I was hoping for one
fact, or one shred of evidence to support this belief, that the earth is flat.
In the space of one and a half hours, two experiments were attempted to
disprove a global earth. Both experiments failed.
Mark Sargent is

Ive enjoyed all your
videos so far, accurate data driven and 100% backed up very well etc. I could
appreciate the fact that you took "Part 8" as a motivational
refresher, which was about due, because of the "sadder" preceding
parts, as you mentioned made some viewers feel sad or depressed. My question
and comment to you is, and forgive me if it was my fault for thinking this; Are
you "religious"? For some reason I thought and hope you are, and by
religious I mean a Christian, follower of Jesus our Lord?? The reason I am
asking is because to me, the Flat Earth Theory (which you have solidified
(although I will always continue doing researching) ) further proves God and
intelligent design. So when you started catering to those who it may make them
feel "depressed" or "sad" it made me think that you are not
a Christian? This bothered me because with this finding, it should be an open
and shut case regarding (to those who don't believe) that God is real, and we
should accept Jesus as our Lord and Savior and work on becoming stronger
Christians and save other brothers and sisters. We should be rejoicing that
this is prove of what He wrote in the Bible and should further strengthen our
walk. Again I believe you are a great presenter and clearly explain all the
data, your "storytelling" side came out on this one, as others have
said, it sounded kind of like how a movie should sound, and Im not saying is

I watched many debates of more than an
hour and a half. (mostly 2 hours or more) They are not listed here because they

our government. The earth is not round just because you say so. It is flat
